When JAMES launched in October, 2008, two parallel journals were introduced. Final manuscripts accepted following formal peer review were published on JAMES.  Authors’ original submitted manuscripts opened up for informal public comment were posted on the JAMES-D website.

In the past, it was our policy to retain original versions of submitted manuscripts on JAMES-D indefinitely.  Due to recent editorial policy revisions, original submitted manuscripts are now removed from the discussion forum after the completion of formal peer review.  Because we no longer provide a public archive of discussion forum manuscripts, the JAMES-D website has been deleted.  Open discussion now takes place on the discussion forum, located on the JAMES website, while the submitted manuscript undergoes formal peer review.

Other functions previously served by JAMES-D, such as manuscript submission and review, have been moved to JAMES.  Authors, Reviewers, and Editors looking to track and manage manuscripts can do so on the JAMES website.
