Lots of brisk iron and garrigue accents rifle through the finish. Epitomizes fine Sierra Foothills Zinfandel, offering vibrant, briary raspberry, smoked pepper and wild sweet anise flavors that stretch out on the zesty finish. Dried red fruit flavors are lively, offering a surplus of rich, dried savory herb notes. Ribolla Gialla, Tocai Friulano and Chardonnay. Bordeaux-like, offering an expansive mix of currant, cedar, cigar box, riverbed and tobacco leaf flavors. The finish is rustic, with the tannins flexing their muscles, yet this comes together in the end.
